Change. It's Time For Us To Evolve Once Again.

Since the dawn of days, we humans always prevail over hardships. Although we are fragile creatures, without any special abilities or God-given physical advantages; unlike most other creatures in the world, we managed to overcome the impossible and after a millenia, we became the dominant species on earth. Yes, indeed we have no hard shells protecting us from predators, nor sharp claws to hunt for preys, but one thing that stood out from all others is our ability to think. 

We are thinkers, we are creators, inventors, innovators, and fabricators. We may not have hard shells to protect ourselves from danger, but we invented shields. We may not have sharp claws or venomous fangs, but we created swords and  poisonous arrows. Through the innate ability of man to think, to create, to invent, we managed to overcome a world full of dangerous creatures both on land and sea. Then, we became civilized. We founded farming, and we developed a hierarchy system. We abode under a set of rules, traditions, the Dos and the Don'ts. Through time, we were blessed with religions, beliefs system and a set of moral obligations. 

Then, the darkness came. We created 'money', and we created 'economy'. It was perfect. It was. The most useful thing we have ever created, ever. But now, it's not. We are putting our whole existence into evaluation. We put a price tag on everything, social status, belongings, possessions, creations, love, dignity, family, neighbors, pets, even water from a natural spring! We bottled them up and shipped them to stores, then sell them for money. What's next? The oxygen that we breathe? Well, even those are for sale; in tanks nowadays. 

Now for diving, maybe later for breathing outdoor.

There's nothing free in the world today. Everything has a complicated relations with money. We have descended into the abyss of our own creation, the economy. We traded our human souls and our humanity for the sake of meaningless pieces of paper we called money. Once the mightiest dominant species that outwitted all the other creatures in the world, now just mindless creatures driven by money. We have lost the one and only 'weapon' that we have, our mind. We fell deep. And we are still falling. We invented ways to keep generating money. 

And now, it seems that the only thing motivating us, moving us forward is money and nothing else. If a friend in need of money and has no possibility of paying you back, do you wanna keep being friends with him? Or do you just stay away from him like everyone else? Don't worry, it's natural for you to behave that way. We even call it basic human instinct. Human instinct nowadays is based on money. Those who can't keep up with the economy will suffer. The rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer.

We are slaves, slaves to our own greatest creation. We are slaves of the economy and we have to stop. We have to rise. We have to evolve. Our ancestors fought with external threats, and they've won. They've outwitted their devils. And now it's our turn. We have to outwit our own demons, we have to change. We have to evolve. We have to start at the beginning, rethink our values, and remodeled our lives. 

We have to cure our sadistic addiction towards money. We have to invent a new way of life, a new system to replace the so-called economy. This time, the fight is not externally, it's the fight with our innate desires. And we have to find our missing weapon, our minds. We have to get out of this swirling hurricane of doom we called economy. This is the day. This is the moment where humanity are tested once again. 

Do we prevail or do we perished? If we do prevail, everything that we know today will end, our lives will be changed forever. Nothing will be the same. But that had happened a millenia ago, when we prevail against the harsh survival of this cruel world and became the dominant species. Our ancestors fought with only their minds as a weapon, and they've won. Now it's our turn. Do we fight our demons or do we let it consume our souls and drag us to extinction?

Humanity: Never Give Up, Brothers and Sisters!

When all hope on humanity dims away, swallowed by the darkness that never ends.. Greed, lust, murder.. we receive a constant reminding from the news network about how fearsome we have become. Our hearts slowly turned to stones. We looked away when we saw someone in need. To trust is something impeccably hard to do. 

But a handful of us, just a handful, reminds us that there is still hope in humanity. That there is still love inside every single one of us. That what the media is trying to tell you, is not the concrete truth, humanity is not cruel in nature. Humanity is not dead. Humanity is you. And you can change the way things are. Not by enlisting in wartime volunteer, or going to an African nation in a mercy mission. But by doing simple good deeds everyday.. Lets make this a new culture. Lets make this into something we normally, instinctively do.
